Let the Battle Begin!

Please join us for an exciting musical tribute to the 1940s big bands. 1940s Battle of the Big Bands features 2 Big Bands. Experience an incredible evening of live 1940s music.

Be dazzled and charmed by vocalist Don Lucas (1940s Boy Singer), who has shared the stage in regional theaters around the country with John Lithgow, Rosemary Harris, Roger Daltrey, Harry Groener, John Mahoney and Loretta “Hotlips” Swit. He has played the role of the Emcee in Cabaret and Albin in La Cage aux Folles, and has appeared on TV's The Golden Girls, General Hospital and Picket Fences.

Joining Don on stage is the talented vocalist Lia Booth (1940s Girl Singer). With her dynamic and heartfelt performances, she is quickly establishing herself as one of Southern California’s most talked-about young jazz singers. Her daring yet effortless musical style, although rooted deeply in the past, is infused with a contemporary sensibility that breathes new life into classic jazz standards night after night.
