MenAlive: Heroes
Vocal music
Presented by MenAlive, Orange County Gay Men's Chorus
Saturday, July 21, 2018

The season finalé concert “HEROES”—which was scheduled at the Irvine Barclay Theatre—has now been moved to Cal State Fullerton’s Meng Concert Hall, located at 800 N. State College Boulevard in Fullerton for two FREE performances on Saturday, July 21 at 4pm and 8pm (there will no Friday performance). Parking at the theater’s parking structure is free also. [MAP]

Due to an unforeseen equipment failure that has resulted in a loss of power to the Irvine Barclay Theatre, all performances of HEROES at the venue have been cancelled. Contractors are currently at work on the system, but, unfortunately, the extensive repairs will not be completed in time to allow for this weekend’s performances at the Barclay.

Irvine Barclay Theatre will issue refunds to all current ticket holders by credit card or check within 10 days. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

In an evening of exciting and inspirational song, MenAlive explores the transformative figures of our age and what it takes to be a HERO. With laughter and tears, you'll thrill to the music of hope, courage and possibility!
Along with the music of U2 and more, this season finalé concert will also feature "I AM HARVEY MILK" which celebrates the life of the first openly gay politician in the U.S. and a remarkable icon of our community.
This groundbreaking musical features Words and Music by Andrew Lippa, and was originally commissioned by the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus, directed by Dr. Timothy Seelig, in honor of Harvey Milk and the 35th anniversary of the Chorus.
HEROES promises to be a truly special concert! JOIN US!
