UCI MIND Distinguished Lecture on the Brain

UCI MIND, in partnership with UCI School of Biological Sciences, and UCI CNLM present the annual lecture on brain disease with esteemed guest speaker Dr. Ronald C. Petersen.

Dr. Petersen is an international leader in brain disease research and served as personal neurologist to President Ronald Reagan during his battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Currently, Dr. Petersen directs the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Over the course of his tenure, Dr. Petersen has authored more than 700 peer-reviewed journal articles and five books on brain aging, memory disorders, and Alzheimer’s disease. He is regarded as one of the most influential clinician scientists of our time in the field of brain disease research.

Tickets: Registration is required. Event is free and open to the public, but space is limited.
