Please join us for an evening with renowned author Steven Pinker, the Chancellor's Distinguished Speaker. 

Hear the author of Enlightenment Now and The Better Angels of our Nature make the case for reason, science and humanism to benefit society.

A provocative speaker, Steven Pinker is a cognitive scientist who has been named by Time as one of the "100 Most Influential People in the World." He is a Johnstone Family Professor in the Department of Psychology at Harvard University, a TED speaker, and was twice nominated for the Pulitzer Prize. 

Sponsored by the UCI Chancellor's Distinguished Speaker Series, the campus-wide Confronting Extremism initiative, and the Perspectives on Bias, Prejudice, and Bigotry Lecture Series.

Book signing follows lecture at 8:00 p.m.- 8:30 p.m.
