STAGEHAND
Under general supervision of the Irvine Barclay Theatre Production Manager, a Stagehand is responsible for providing stage and backstage technical support, including load-in and load-out, for professional guest artist performances and amateur licensee events occurring at Irvine Barclay Theatre and is responsible for the proper installation, maintenance, inventory and safe operation of all theatrical equipment.
SKILLS & BACKGROUND
- Basic knowledge of standard theatrical production practices preferred
- Willingness to adhere to the IBT's safety protocols and policies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a team-player mindset.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs (pending department) and work on your feet.
- A willingness to learn!
- This position is part time, and hourly
- Part time employment at Irvine Barclay Theatre does not include benefits or paid leave
