The Encore Society: An Important Way to Move This Legacy Forward

This special group recognizes those who have included the Barclay in their estate plans. Just as the founders laid the groundwork for the Barclay's success, Encore Society members play a crucial role ensuring the theater’s continued vitality.

There are many ways to create a lasting legacy:

•    Bequests in Your Will or Trust: A charitable gift of a fixed amount or a percentage of your estate is a common way to ensure your assets make a meaningful difference.
•    Retirement Assets: Designate Irvine Barclay Theatre as a beneficiary of your IRA or retirement plan to minimize taxes for heirs while supporting the performing arts.
•    Life Insurance: Naming the Barclay as a policy beneficiary allows you to craft a legacy without diminishing other investments.
•    Donor Advised Funds: These are sort of personalized, charitable savings accounts. Even small investors may receive immediate tax benefits by contributing cash, stocks, property or other assets to invest for tax-free growth. You oversee recommending grants from your fund to the Barclay.
•    Life Income Gifts: Charitable gift annuities allow you to transfer cash or real estate to the Barclay, now, while securing fixed payments to you for life.
